Pollution particles accumulate on the skin surface and can cause long term damage by inducing skin irritation, free radical production, and inflammation – all eventually triggering melanin overproduction, resulting in uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation.

This is why we have incorporated an active ingredient called Pollustop® that creates a non-clogging protective film on the surface of the skin to block dirt, pollution particles and free radicals.

This is your protection from external aggressions. But things happen on the inside too: Oxidation is when your body’s oxygen atoms spit and become free radicals. Those pesky things again! Free radicals can attack healthy cells resulting in acceleration of the skin’s aging process, increasing hyperpigmentation, elasticity loss…etc.

Definitely not what we want! To fight those free radicals, antioxidants are our best friends. They can be found in Vitamin C (this is probably the most famous) but also in Hesperidin, an incredible molecule found in Bitter Orange; Green Tea, Licorice root, or our Myrtle Leaf extract sourced in Morocco.
