Perfect for double cleansing, this formula contains ingredients selected to gently cleanse and detoxify melanin-rich skin which is more prone to developing uneven pigmentation. The balm boasts a soft and natural texture that transitions into an oil upon application to dry skin. It rinses off easily and let no greasy residue after rinsing.

HOW TO

Apply the gel directly to dry skin and massage gently with circular movements until the gel turns into oil. Rinse and pat dry.

CAN I USE THIS PRODUCT AS PART OF A DOUBLE CLEANSING ROUTINE? IF SO, WHICH STEP WOULD THE BALM BE?
The cleansing balm can be used as part of a double cleansing routine. Its oil-based formula gently removes makeup and sunscreen. We recommend using it as a finishing touch to our micellar gel to remove the last impurities.

SHOULD I USE ANOTHER CLEANSER AFTERWARDS?
You can use the balm alone for a single cleanse or pair with another cleanser for a double cleanse if you wish. Our cleansing balm can be used in the morning and evening.

IS IT A CLEANSER FOR DRY SKIN?
This rich balm is ideal for dry skin. It contains sugar-based surfactants to gently and effectively cleanse the skin without stripping it, leaving a comfortable, silky finish.

CAN I USE THIS PRODUCT IF I HAVE OILY SKIN?
The cleansing balm is made with dry skin in mind but suitable for all skin types. For oily skin we recommend using with our Detox & Glow Mask and 24h Moisturizer Mattifying Effect.

Unlike most other cleansers, this balm contains natural ingredients such as organic Myrtle Leaf and Baobab Fruit and rich in vitamins C and E.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps protect the skin from free radicals (Them again!), slowing down cellular aging, and reducing inflammation, which can lead to hyperpigmentation. Vitamin E is also extremely gentle and super hydrating. Sugar-based surfactants ensure extremely gentle cleansing.

The Truth

This product has been a solid addition to my face care routine. I don't remember how I stumbled across this marvelous skin care team,but their products are just naturally pleasing to my skin. It's hard to find good quality products for us darker skinned friends

Pros: It effectively cleans and nourishes the skin. If you leave it for one or two minutes , it works much better. Use warm water; you may think it is oily but after it dries no sign of oil is left. Your skin is really smooth and clearer. Use twice a day.Cons: None.

I really love this cleansing balm. I use waterproof mascara and normally have a hard time removing it. This cleansing balm is a mixture of a gel and a moisturizer type consistency. It doesn’t lather but it’s easy to spread around and really melts off the makeup. I did have to cleanse twice but I normally do that anyway. It rinsed clean and left my face soft and smooth.

I really like this stuff! My face feels clean and fresh after using! Very mild scent! Fresh smelling and doesn’t linger for those sensitive to fragrance! Has a nice texture! Really really enjoying this product!

I’m always careful what I put on my face. Having sensitive skin that’s normal/dry I want to be sure to not irritate it. I used this cleansing balm and it was a little different. It sort of melted into my face as it cleansed. Then after rinsing it off my skin felt so hydrated. I could definitely tell that this cleansed my face well and did not strip it. So that’s a bonus! This balm cleanser has some healthy ingredients for the skin and that’s probably why my face felt so nice after using this.

Gently Cleanses And Nourishes Skin

Ustawi gifted me this product in exchange for my honest review. I’ve been really impressed with this cleanser! It’s a unique micellar water gel that you only have to use a little of. It feels very soothing and nourishing as I apply it on my skin. Not only does it do a great job of removing makeup and impurities, but it’s also very hydrating. You don’t even need to rinse off, I usually remove excess with a cotton pad. It leaves my complexion looking brighter, and feeling soft, smooth and moisturized.
